Abstract

La ética del ejercicio de la medicina en aspectos como el médico y la sociedad, la relación del médico con otros médicos, terapias médicas innovadoras, el consentimiento informado, el acceso a la atención médica, la ingeniería genética, la renuncia al tratamiento para mantener la vida, el suicido asistido por médicos y la cada vez mayor computarización de las historias clínicas obligan a reconsiderar periódicamente los dilemas éticos en el entorno de la medicina actual. 1
