Abstract

La práctica médica está insertada en el complejo sistema de las relaciones humanas, al margen de esta consideración resulta insuficiente entender la esencia de esta actividad profesional así como el dominio del método que la distingue, pues el médico se relaciona con seres humanos para restablecer, mantener o incrementar la calidad de vida de los mismos, su bienestar físico, biológico, psicológico y social, por lo que no resulta suficiente actuar con un elevado profesionalismo científico-técnico que no tenga en cuenta la esencia de ese ser humano; es decir, su mundo interno, subjetivo.
