Abstract

La preocupación por la calidad del ser humano ha constituido uno de los componentes esenciales que caracterizan las políticas de ciencia y técnica desde hace varias décadas, convirtiéndose en una tendencia que impera en el mundo de hoy y que define el papel que le corresponde a la gestión del conocimiento en la nueva sociedad. Sin embargo, muchas organizaciones no utilizan directamente todo su potencial humano basado en el conocimiento para enfrentar los cambios establecidos por la dinámica de mercado, dado que generalmente no se encuentran organizados los procesos de generación y explotación del conocimiento, y la cultura instaurada no ayuda a su uso por lo que el potencial de desarrollo muchas veces no se actualiza por falta de oportunidades, que son consecuencia de una incorrecta gestión de su actuación.
