Abstract

El IES Atalaya se encuentra en la localidad Sevillana de Casariche, la cual cuenta con aproximadamente unos 5300 habitantes. El centro está situado en las afueras del pueblo, aunque cada vez son más las viviendas que aparecen a su alrededor, por la natural expansión que vive esta próspera localidad. Casariche vive fundamentalmente de la agricultura, con unas grandes extensiones dedicadas al cultivo del olivo y la producción de aceite. También hay un polígono industrial con algunas fábricas, que está creciendo y en el que trabajan muchas personas de la localidad.
