La Educación Como Factor Del Desarrollo Integral Socioeconómico

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza la dinámica del desarrollo desde la perspectiva de la educación como elemento referencial del proceso de formación de capital social y humano, los cuales resultan fundamentales para la productividad, la capitalización económico – financiera y en la generación de las condiciones sociales que posibiliten la dinámica del desarrollo. En esta lógica, presentar una postura de desarrollo alternativa a las tradicionalmente elaboradas, centradas en los referentes económicos, plantea que el desarrollo debe entenderse desde una perspectiva integral y sustentable, e incluir en su definición, referentes explícitos de medio ambiente, condicionantes sociopolíticos, así como cualquier elemento que incida en el desarrollo. De esta manera, considera que los países desarrollados lo son por sus niveles de escolaridad, y que una elevada escolaridad no es el resultado del desarrollo sino su antecedente y condición.
