IUS Y LEX: PARTIDOS POLÍTICOS Y DIALOGO IDEOLÓGICO: YOUTUBE ¿Un nuevo escenario para la interacción política?

Abstract

La irrupción de las TIC en el marco político ha dado lugar a la aparición de nuevas dinámicas y oportunidades para la participación democrática. En YouTube, la plataforma global de vídeos en Internet, los partidos políticos han abierto sus propios canales a través de los cuales trasladan sus mensajes audiovisuales a los usuarios de este portal. España no es una excepción, y a las puertas de unas elecciones generales, las principales fuerzas políticas intensifican la actividad en sus sites YouTube; el número de vídeos distribuidos aumentan y también el número de visionados por parte de los miles de usuarios que visitan estos canales. El vídeo parece cobrar una especial importancia como transmisor de mensajes ideológicos y su difusión a través de la Red genera nuevas actitudes en el panorama político.
