IUS Y LEX: ANÁLISIS CRÍTICO DE LA CULTURA. Importancia de ir al Cine en Guanajuato : primer acercamiento

Abstract

En México se realizó la primera exhibición pública el 14 de agosto de 1896 en el entresuelo de la droguería Plateros de la ciudad de México . El éxito de tales funciones fue tal que a partir de ese momento, no sólo se consolidó como fenómeno cultural popular sino además se extendió hacia el exterior de la capital, a través de los proyeccionistas trashumantes, lanzados por las circunstancias que la recepción de material nuevo que en ese momento se tenían y la creciente competencia entre los empresarios del ramo. “Los años 1900 a 1906 se caracterizan por el auge de la trashumancia. Los empresarios ambulantes del cinematógrafo pronto llegaron a las poblaciones más accesibles y mejor comunicadas: Guadalajara, Puebla, Orizaba, San Luis Potosí, etc., pero la competencia los empujaba a internarse a lugares apartados, mostrando a sus habitantes, países lejanos” . Estos empresarios se le conoció como cómicos de la legua, que realizaban sus funciones en donde podían: carpas, salones improvisados, salas de bailes y teatros.
