Curso Preparatório Matemática Básica CIMENG – Uma nova proposta do ensino da matemática básica para ingressos em graduações de exatas

Abstract

O projeto Curso Preparatório Matemática Básica CIMENG (Ciências, Matemática e Engenharia) é fruto de uma análise exploratória acerca da problemática manifestada por alguns estudantes em cursos de exatas da Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú (UVA), evidenciando um déficit em seu ensino matemático escolar. A intenção do projeto se sintetiza em duas: criar um acompanhamento paralelo à graduação dos estudantes que possa servir como auxílio para suprir à sua fraca base curricular como também analisar e comparar o nível de tais alunos antes e depois da realização do curso, garantindo que possam seguir suas respectivas graduações possuindo conhecimento necessário e criando um produto educacional que possa servir de apoio e referência a futuros estudos do gênero.
