Educación basada en el arte para disciplinas no artísticas: dibujando las relaciones norte-su

Abstract

Este artículo identifica la oportunidad de revisar los métodos en la enseñanza en las ciencias sociales para superar el esquema tradicional de enseñanza-aprendizaje que sobrevalora el aprendizaje memorístico. Este trabajo señala la importancia de desarrollar las competencias creativas en el aula. Una forma de hacerlo es introducir prácticas artísticas en clase, incluso en asignaturas no artísticas. En este trabajo se presenta una experiencia de educación basada en las artes. La propuesta consiste en representar los problemas del tercer mundo y las relaciones Norte-Sur a través de dibujos realizados por estudiantes de Sociología de la Universidad de Valencia (España). La experiencia muestra resultados positivos en términos de participación de los estudiantes y desarrollo de la creatividad.
