La UPREZ, una experiencia pedagógica alternativa

Abstract

El contexto social, económico y político de la década de los ochenta, es propicio para la conformación de grupos que protestan y denuncian la condición de marginación, de exclusión y de explotación de la que están siendo objeto, en este escenario surge la Unión Popular Revolucionaria Emiliano Zapata (UPREZ). Se describe brevemente su origen, el sentido político y pedagógico de su propuesta educativa, como una significación en la que se entreteje lo político y lo pedagógico, expresado en el uso metafórico de la organización como escuela y a través de las acciones colectivas que realiza para presenciarse como sujeto educativo. Los movimientos sociales actualmente no son solo una reacción al conflicto estructural, sino acciones mediadas por dinámicas y prácticas sociales distintas.
