Abstract

El proceso de gestión de la información ocupa un lugar importante en las universidades, es la técnica de trabajo que busca agilizar y facilitar los procesos de manejo de la información con el objeto de transformarla en conocimiento interrelacionado y eficaz. Un buen número de estudiantes carecen de las competencias requeridas para buscar, organizar y presentar informes, sobre todo, para realizar lecturas compresivas de textos especializados, estructurar un cuerpo de conocimientos y para escribir textos coherentes ajustados a los requerimientos académicos. Se pretende con el trabajo que los estudiantes desarrollen habilidades en sus trabajos independientes y su investigación, que sean capaces de procesar la información
