Preferencias léxicas para la nominación de las relaciones sociales en el contexto universitario

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone el registro e interpretación de las preferencias léxicas entre estudiantes que cursan la Licenciatura en Educación en la especialidad de Español-Literatura de la Universidad de Artemisa. Tratándose de una tarea de corte filológico y de carácter cualitativo, se buscó sustentación en fundamentos y conceptos de lexicología y sociolingüística, y se exploraron antecedentes de trabajos de este tipo, incluyendo los dedicados al léxico estudiantil. Se prepararon cuestionarios encaminados a obtener información, que se aplicaron, siguiendo métodos y técnicas como el cuestionario y la encuesta, a una muestra de 30 estudiantes, de una población conformada por 50, lo que representa el 60%. La descripción del material obtenido permitió registrar e interpretar las preferencias léxicas, que pueden resultar de notable utilidad para emprender estudios posteriores sobre las características del habla y del léxico de un sector poblacional considerable en la provincia de Artemisa –los estudiantes-, con lo cual se estaría aportando material lingüístico para otras investigaciones de este tipo y de mayor alcance.
