El rol de las TIC en las clases de inglés en el curso por encuentros

Abstract

Al ser el idioma inglés y la tecnología actualmente dos de los aspectos de mayor relevancia ligado al desarrollo intelectual humano, es inevitable que estos se vean involucrados en la esfera educativa moderna de tal manera que deben considerarse como procesos inherentes a la educación superior actual. Este trabajo persigue destacar la importancia del uso de la tecnología en el contexto específico de las clases de idioma inglés en la modalidad de curso por encuentros en la Universidad de Moa y la correlación que existe entre el uso de dicha tecnología y el conocimiento del idioma inglés en la investigación científica en beneficio a la sociedad. Consiguientemente, destaca la necesidad de perfeccionar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la clase encuentro de manera tal que el uso y enseñanza del inglés y las TIC respondan a las necesidades que enfrenta el estudiante durante la carrera y en su futuro desempeño profesional.
