Abstract

El trabajo expone algunas citas, ideas e interrogantes que provocan una motivación hacia la lectura en cualquier espacio social para los estudiantes, profesores, trabajadores y directivos universitarios. Desde esta perspectiva se argumenta la dimensión filosófica y educativa de la lectura como proceso sicológico y social, se reflexiona sobre la escritura, lectura y proyección de la República Moral de José Martí, se fundamenta el principio de una educación desde, durante y para la vida en función de la lectura como proceso psicosocial y se valora la importancia y actualidad de la lectura en la época de la globalización y las tecnologías de la comunicación como recurso imprescindible para el desarrollo de la cultura universitaria y el mejoramiento espiritual, académico, ético y estético del ser humano.
