El estudio de caso como vía para para la atención a los escolares sordos

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio de caso de escolares sordos, la cual constituye una dificultad o la imposibilidad de usar el sentido del oído debido a una pérdida de la capacidad auditiva parcial (hipoacusia) o total (cofosis), y unilateral o bilateral. Se estudiará un grupo seleccionado intencionalmente de la Escuela Especial Ramón Téllez Peña, del municipio La Tunas. Este estudio de caso permitió revelar necesidades y potencialidades de los escolares con este diagnóstico, lo que constituyó premisa fundamental para concebir una clase de Ciencias de la Naturaleza, con el propósito de poner en práctica la adaptaciones curriculares que demandan estos escolares, así como el fin de la Educación Especial en Cuba que se concreta en: lograr el máximo desarrollo integral posible de las personas con Necesidades Educativas Especiales poniendo en práctica en cualquier contexto recursos de apoyo educativo, especializados y complementarios que les permite enfrentar con independencia su inclusión social.
