Abstract

La importancia de hábitos ecológicos en nuestros tiempos es más que evidente dada las necesidades del medio ambiente, por las condiciones actuales de nuestro mundo puntualizadas por organismos internacionales, nacionales, regionales y locales. Esta investigación tuvo la poca preparación de los atletas en temas de Educación Ambiental por lo cual se traza como objetivo: proponer un sistema de actividades físico recreativas para fortalecer el trabajo en la Educación Ambiental con los atletas del deporte Karate-do categoría 13 – 15 años del combinado deportivo # 1 municipio Imías. Considerando los hábitos ecológicos como el más próximo a la conservación del Medio Ambiente. Además con la finalidad de incidir en una formación orientada a la conservación y respeto al mismo, por lo que resulta inminente dotar a los atletas del deporte karate – do, de conocimientos medioambientales que redunden en actitudes responsables que impliquen la participación individual y colectiva tanto en su contesto como el comunitario. Los métodos científicos utilizados: del nivel teórico, empíricos y matemáticos -estadísticos, permitieron la interpretación de los datos. Se trabajó con una muestra de 18 atletas, 20 entrenadores y 7 de directivos del Combinado Deportivo con vista a desarrollar habilidades y actitudes que en general elevan la Educación Ambiental.
