Desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en estudiantes de medicina

Abstract

El lograr formar profesionales competentes, capaces de acometer con eficiencia y eficacia las demandas sociales y el desarrollo científico-técnico de la sociedad, es un reclamo global donde cada vez más gobiernos, instituciones y organizaciones de diversos países están imbricados. Corresponde a las universidades la estimulación del espíritu creativo e investigativo científico en la formación de profesionales, específicamente médicos que sean capaces de asimilar nuevos conocimientos y tecnologías, reformular hipótesis científicas y adaptar lo que saben a las nuevas condiciones. En la Universidad de Ciencias médicas Espirituana los procesos formativos que se realizan, acometen importantes transformaciones para perfeccionar el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en sus estudiantes, y la bibliografía consultada refleja la necesidad de que el alumnado desarrolle un pensamiento científico que le permita solucionar los principales problemas que se presentan en su entorno laboral mediante el empleo del método científico. El objetivo principal es caracterizar el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en la formación de estudiantes de Medicina de la Universidad Médica de Sancti Spíritus.
