Análisis de los hábitos de lectura y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del tercer curso BGU de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Nocturna PCEI “Eloy Alfaroâ€

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito analizar los hábitos de lectura y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del tercer curso BGU de la Unidad Educativa PCEI “Eloy Alfaro†, institución que está ubicada en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, Ecuador. Este análisis se lo hizo contando con la información existente de los dos últimos años de bachillerato y una encuesta desarrollada en base a la escala de Likert para medir las percepciones de los hábitos de lectura y realizada a los mismos estudiantes del grupo que hoy están cursando el 3BGU de bachillerato, para esto se contó con los archivos existentes en la secretaría de la Institución y los 41 estudiantes adultos con escolaridad inconclusa objeto del estudio. El resultado del análisis se lo hizo utilizando las herramientas estadísticas del infoStat y muestran una relación estadísticamente poco significativa; lo que conlleva a pensar que este estudio debe realizarse tomando en consideración otros factores como podrían ser: edad, económico, familiar, laboral.
