La comunicación de información desde la biblioteca universitaria

Abstract

La biblioteca universitaria actual, se encuentra inmersa en un cambio paradigmático en el modelo de gestión, debido a la irrupción de las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación. Esto ha llevado a poner en práctica nuevos métodos y estilos de trabajo en los servicios informativos a partir del desarrollo y fortalecimiento de habilidades comunicativas que permitan mejorar las relaciones interpersonales y el crecimiento continuo, así como la satisfacción de las necesidades, intereses y demandas informativas del universo de usuario. El trabajo que se presenta propone desarrollar, a partir de la reflexión de la función que cumplen las bibliotecas universitarias y el rol de su personal, acciones metodológicas para el desarrollo de la comunicación que se establece entre el bibliotecario y el usuario en la biblioteca universitaria. Para ello se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y empírico lo que permitieron determinar las acciones específicas en la efectiva comunicación.
