Evaluación de la accesibilidad en el sitio web de la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena para personas con discapacidad visual

Abstract

La evaluación de la accesibilidad en el sitio web de la Universiadad Peninsula de Santa Elena se ha realizado comprobando el cumplimiento de las pautas de accesibilidad de contenidos Web establecidas por el World Wide Web Consortium en la recomendación WCAG 2.0. mediamte la realizacion de tres valoraciones diferentes como una evaluación de accesibilidad automática utilizando la herramienta de tasación online TAW, como método complementario una revisión manual acudiendo a softwares específicos para dicha tarea, además se añadieron test presenciales con usuarios que poseen distintos niveles y tipos de discapacidad visual. Con los resultados obtenidos se realiza recomendaciones para mejorar el nivel de accesibilidad requerido por los usuarios del sitio web.
