Impacto de la herramienta webquest en el rendimiento académico en la asignatura de inglés

Abstract

La presente investigación se enfoca en conocer el impacto que tiene el uso de las WebQuest en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en la asignatura de inglés, se utilizó una investigacióncuasi-experimental de corte transversal prospectivo el método científico, deductivo y comparativo, las técnicas del muestreo y análisis de datos y como instrumentos análisis crítico, observación directa, entrevista estructurada y test. Se ha logrado con el prototipo aplicado a los estudiantes demostrar la efectividad en el aprendizaje, medido en los ámbitos de comprensión, aceptabilidad, satisfacción y rendimiento académico. La aplicación de las WebQuest por los docentes potencia el desarrollo de las capacidades intelectuales en los estudiantes y las tareas que se realizan requieren de habilidades cognitivas de alto nivel que permiten transformar la información en conocimiento, y motiva al docente a utilizar nuevos recursos para mejorar sus clases.
