Abstract

El artículo responde a una de las problemáticas más apremiantes en la formación inicial de maestros primarios: la comprensión lectora; para contribuir a su solución se proponen acciones dirigidas al tratamiento de las habilidades lectoras con énfasis en la comprensión, en los estudiantes de 1er año de la carrera de Educación Primaria. Se aplicaron métodos que conllevaron a identificar insuficiencias. Se diagnosticaron carencias y causas que las provocan y se propone cómo mejorar sus resultados.
