Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar algumas considerações teóricas acerca do uso de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs) na rede pública de ensino no Brasil. Considerando a perspectiva de Durkheim da escola quanto ambiente de socialização institucional, e a abordagem de Bourdieu e Passeron da escola como reprodutora de desigualdades sociais, busca-se compreender como o não acesso eficaz às TICs pode comprometer o processo ensino-aprendizagem na rede pública de ensino.
