Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo esencial profundizar en los criterios que entorno a la zona de desarrollo próximo poseen un espacio en la pedagogía actual, retomando entre los criterios fundamentales de Vigotsky†la educación de los escolares con retraso mental leve no se diferencia de la educación de los niños normales, que los primeros pueden asimilar los conocimientos y desarrollar habilidades de manera semejante a la de sus coetáneos. No obstante, es imprescindible investigar y utilizar métodos, medios, procedimientos y técnicas específicas para lograr este desarrollo†. Por lo que el software educativo constituye un medio efectivo para desarrollar sus conocimientos, habilidades y lograr la corrección, compensación y desarrollo de los procesos afectados (memoria, pensamiento, motricidad fina, orientación en tiempo y espacio), vinculándolos a la vida práctica.
