Rol de epistemología en la inclusión educativa ecuatoriana

Abstract

La educación contemporánea, ha asumido el reto de impulsar diferentes programas orientados a promover procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje inclusivos, que facilite la atención a la diversidad. Es evidente que la integración de los estudiantes con necesidades especiales en los centros educativos regulares, ha originado cambios significativos en el curriculúm, infraestructura y formación entre los docentes. En los últimos diez años, la inclusión educativa ha logrado avances significativos, pero aún queda mucho por hacer para ampliar espacios inclusivos. En el presente artículo se analizó la evolución que ha tenido la inclusión en la educación ecuatoriana y la indagación de diferentes bases teóricas, que direccionan a la reflexión de este desafío que conlleva la inclusión en todos sus niveles; el aporte de los docentes y representantes legales, son pilares elementales para fomentar la inclusión y la igualdad de oportunidades para niñas, niños y adolescentes.
