Abstract

El objetivo del artículo presentado fue revelar la vida y la obra del ruso Lev Semiónovich Vygotsky, poniendo especial interés a sus aportes en Piscología y educación, Ciencia y proceso a los cuales contribuyó en gran escala con su teoría del desarrollo cognitivo y social-cultural. La investigación incluyó un análisis histórico de las diferentes obras que conforman su planteamiento teórico del pensamiento, del aprendizaje y del desarrollo de los sujetos y su vinculación con el entorno cultural, social e histórico. Se concluye que para el personal docente es sumamente importante conocer y entender la teoría Vygotskiana como una herramienta para generar actividades que permitan el desarrollo cognitivo-social del estudiante.
