Obstã Culos Epistemolã“Gicos De Los Docentes De La Universidad De Guayaquil En Ecuador

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta una aproximación teórica de los obstáculos epistemológicos a los que se enfrentan los docentes ocasionales y titulares pertenecientes a la institución de educación superior más grande del Ecuador, como lo es la Universidad de Guayaquil. Esta universidad con casi 150 años de vida académica, se ubica en la urbe de mayor desarrollo del país, Guayaquil, y da cabida a más de 80.000 estudiantes en 18 facultades y 83 carreras, y cuenta con una planta docente que supera los 3000 docentes. Actualmente se encuentra en un proceso de intervención por parte del estado y está además próxima a ser evaluada para lograr su recategorización. En referencia a los aportes teóricos de estudiosos de la filosofía como Bacherald, Bacon, Cassasus, entre otros, se realizan diversas reflexiones sobre el quehacer académico, investigativo, y profesional de los docentes de una universidad de tradición en el Ecuador, que durante muchos años perdió su calidad académica y que hoy gracias a los esfuerzos de todos quienes componen el colectivo universitario, la está recuperando lentamente.
