Abstract

Analizar los factores asociados al abandono escolar, sus efectos sobre los estudiantes, padres de familia y para la misma institución, es el propósito de este ensayo, mostrar las principales causas de abandono escolar de los estudiantes de la Universidad Tecnológica de Tecámac (UTTEC), y ver realmente cual es el papel que juega el estudiante ante esta situación. Compartir experiencias con los actores principales de este problema, nos permitirá unir esfuerzos para un compromiso de mejora en la permanencia estudiantil, para buscar estrategias que permitan involucrar a todos los agentes responsables y así minimizar la deserción estudiantil.
