Abstract

El proceso de investigación se realizó en la Sede de la Educación de Adultos “Mártires de Maniabón†, del municipio Puerto Padre, provincia Las Tunas y posibilitó conocer el estado crítico que presenta el medio ambiente y la gran influencia que ejercen los jóvenes nativos en el deterioro, casi irreversible, del medio en las diferentes áreas que conforman la localidad. Aborda la problemática medio ambiente, en sentido general, y la educación ambiental en específico ofreciendo actividades que permitieron fortalecer la Educación Ambiental en los estudiantes mediante su intervención en la solución de los problemas que allí fueron detectados. Se demostró que la Educación Ambiental, desde la escuela, constituye una herramienta valiosa en la incorporación de los jóvenes al cuidado de un medio ambiente que pertenece a las futuras generaciones.
