Abstract

La educación y la tecnología han tenido una fuerte interacción, lo cual ha dado pie a una gran cantidad de investigaciones y transformaciones en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, con el objetivo principal de propiciar cambios significativos que se adapten a las nuevas necesidades de los diferentes niveles educativos. En el caso de la educación superior, los jóvenes universitarios se involucran fuertemente con la tecnología y esto ha obligado a los docentes a buscar nuevas estrategias de enseñanza, con el propósito de transformar a éstos, de observadores a participantes directos de su propio proceso de aprendizaje. En esta investigación se pretende reflejar la percepción que tienen los alumnos de la ingeniería en Mecatrónica del Centro universitario de los Lagos de la Universidad de Guadalajara (CULAGOS) sobre el uso de las redes sociales como herramientas de colaboración en dicho proceso y los beneficios que se tienen al utilizarlas.
