Abstract

Este artículo ofrece un estudio de los presupuestos básicos de la Filosofía de la física del ilustre filósofo y educador cubano José de la Luz y Caballero; dicho estudio descubre los nexos y enlaces existentes con su Filosofía de la educación. El objetivo planteado por los autores de este trabajo está dirigido a revelar las bases epistemológicas, pedagógicas y sociales que sustentaron la Filosofía de la física lucista, y orientaron su influjo en la promoción de las aplicaciones de la física como ciencia experimental y su enseñanza en el país, como contribución al progreso del proceso de formación de la cultura nacional.
