Abstract

Las universidades de diferentes países se han dado a la tarea de implementar cursos de idiomas como parte de su oferta académica, debido a la motivación de sus estudiantes de incrementar su nivel de formación en este mundo contemporáneo y competitivo donde el profesional más capacitado no solo es el que domina su profesión, sino también otros idiomas, que les permitan realizar intercambios con profesionales de otras latitudes. El presente artículo proporciona algunos principios básicos- teóricos sobre la enseñanza-aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera, donde se le brinda especial atención al desarrollo de la expresión oral como habilidad que resulta de vital importancia y cuyo fortalecimiento en las clases de lengua extranjera adquiere una connotación relevante, por la lógica evidente de comunicación rápida entre las personas.
