La motivación por la lectura una alternativa para la formación integral de las futuras generaciones

Abstract

El gobierno cubano tiene dentro de sus objetivos principales elevar la cultura general integral de las nuevas generaciones; una de las vías para este propósito es la lectura y su promoción. A pesar de estos, los escolares no se sienten motivados a leer. Los educadores y bibliotecarias no le han dado el tratamiento adecuado a este componente. El objetivo de este artículo es reflexionar sobre la importancia que tiene motivar a los escolares a leer para poder entender con mayor facilidad todo el currículo que reciben en la Educación Primaria y que estas habilidades le sirvan como futuros profesionales.
