La vinculación de la historia local a la historia de cuba en secundaria básica, una vía para la formación integral

Abstract

El estudio de la historia local y su necesaria incursión en la Historia de Cuba en la enseñanza Secundaria Básica posee una especial significación porque contribuye a fortalecer la identidad nacional, y a elevar la cultura general integral de los estudiantes. Para que se interesen por el estudio de la Historia, es necesario crearles una atmósfera agradable y vincular los conocimientos con la vida diaria, con la historia de su localidad, que es su mundo más cercano. Esta posee un potencial formativo humanista, al enriquecer el mundo espiritual, fortalecer la memoria histórica, en fin, incidir en la formación de una conciencia histórica que repercuta en el desarrollo ideopolítico y cultural general e integral de los estudiantes por las lecciones que aporta el aprendizaje histórico para la vida y los conocimientos de los estudiantes.
