El tratamiento de la educación en prevención de desastres mediante las clases de español - literatura en la enseñanza secundaria básica

Abstract

Por la geodiversidad de la región del Caribe y la ubicación geográfica de Cuba en este escenario, surge la exposición de la Isla a múltiples amenazas o peligros naturales, agregando además los factores de las diferentes vulnerabilidades existentes, fundamentalmente la vulnerabilidad social que potencia el nivel de riesgo de desastres a lo largo y ancho de todo nuestro país. Santiago de Cuba se encuentra sometida a diferentes amenazas naturales como ciclones, tormentas locales, deslizamientos, sismos fundamentalmente, entre muchas otras. Las características de vulnerabilidad de esta ciudad, tanto física, socioeconómica, como generacional la convierte en una zona de alto riesgo con incidencia en toda la comunidad.
