El desarrollo de habilidades en el trabajo con magnitudes para la vida

Abstract

Es una aspiración de nuestra sociedad formar ciudadanos preparados para participar activamente en la satisfacción de sus propias necesidades utilizando los adelantos de la ciencia y la técnica; lo que impone a la escuela la tarea de perfeccionar la preparación del niño para la vida. Por la importancia que reviste desde el punto de vista práctico ha de prestarse especial atención al desarrollo de habilidades para el trabajo con magnitudes. Con ese objetivo, se ofrece en esta ponencia un grupo de ejercicios dirigidos a perfeccionar el desarrollo de las habilidades medir, convertir, estimar y calcular con datos de magnitud en la Educación Primaria. La propuesta es fundamentada con las leyes, categorías y principios del marxismo leninismo y la teoría del conocimiento que son sustentos de la orientación dialéctico materialista de la realidad; así como con el enfoque histórico cultural de L. S. Vigotsky.
