Diagnóstico del entendimiento de la sindicación de contenidos (RSS) en el aula universitaria

Abstract

El creciente volumen de información disponible en la Internet y el requerido desarrollo de habilidades de lectura crítica en los estudiantes universitarios convierten al uso de agregadores, también conocidos como Sindicación de Contenidos (RSS) en un elemento digno de ser considerado para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. La tecnología de Sindicación de Contenidos (RSS) surge con el propósito de facilitar el filtrado del creciente volumen de información que día a día aparece en Internet. Este aspecto es relevante en el contexto de la formación integral del estudiante que se orienta en desarrollar habilidades para “aprender a aprender” como uno de los cánones que imperan el modelo universitario público mexicano. De ahí que conocer el grado de asimilación de este tipo de tecnología en el alumnado es el punto de partida para su posible incorporación en las estrategias didácticas de los programas educativos. Para ello se diseñó un instrumento cuantitativo que fue aplicado a estudiantes de las carreras de Administración de Empresas, Administración Turística y Sistemas Computacionales Administrativos adscritos al campus Veracruz de la Universidad Veracruzana. Los resultados indican un bajo conocimiento y uso de la sindicación de contenidos.
