Necesidad de perfeccionar la enseñanza de la lectura en idioma extranjero en los centros politécnicos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se realiza una explicación del lugar y rol de la asignatura Idioma Extranjero en el currículum de la Educación Técnica y profesional; particular tratamiento se ofrece a la caracterización didáctica y metodológica de la lectura como una habilidad importante a desarrollar en estos centros en tal sentido, se ofrecen alternativas derivadas de los resultados obtenidos por los investigadores en su práctica pedagógica en la asignatura Idioma Extranjero, relacionadas con u sistema de ejercicios para desarrollar las habilidades lectoras de comprensión e interpretación, la caracterización de los principales tipos de textos científico- técnicos que se deben utilizar a través de esta asignatura el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje de la lectura en las especialidades de agropecuarias; finalmente, se ofrecen recomendaciones para la vinculación de la asignatura Inglés con las especialidades técnicas en función de desarrollar la comprensión y la interpretación práctico-investigativa en los centros tecnológicos.
