La integración de contenidos en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje de las ciencias en la Secundaria Básica: posibilidades de concreción en la práctica escolar

Abstract

Expertos aducen que para pervivir en el tercer milenio es necesario incorporar a la cultura general de cada individuo una base considerable de saberes con los que comprender, explicar e interpretar la complejidad de la realidad y sus problemas. Tomando como referente, además, lo anterior para la Secundaria Básica cubana se ha diseñado un Modelo de Escuela (ME) que promueve un proceso formativo orientado al desarrollo integral de la personalidad de los adolescentes. Sin embargo, la praxis revela insuficiencias en los procesos didácticos que se desarrollan que limitan este propósito y con ello la apropiación en estos de saberes integrados. En tal sentido constituye un objetivo de este trabajo presentar una metodología que desde un enfoque Ciencia Tecnología Sociedad Medio Ambiente (CTSMA) viabilice en la práctica la integración de contenidos en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje en esta educación a través de tareas integradoras.
