¿Como acceden nuestros alumnos a la lectura?

Abstract

El aprendizaje de la lectura es básico y fundamental para el desenvolvimiento normalizado de cualquier alumno/a. La enseñanza de la lectura desde la perspectiva actual, debe abordarse desde dos vías de acceso al léxico: vía visual y vía fonológica. Para conseguir una lectura fluida se necesita la implicación de ambas rutas de acceso al léxico pues se desarrollan de forma interrelacionada. Para comprender una palabra, primero el alumno/a debe reconocerla, pero a la vez, nos encontramos con alumnos/as que pueden reconocer palabras y no comprenderlas. De ahí, que sea necesario conocer como acceden nuestros alumnos/as a la lectura a través de ambas rutas para comprender en la fase del proceso donde el alumno/a presenta dificultades. Al conocer donde presenta dificultades el alumnado, se podrá plantear una intervención efectiva para que pueda acceder a la lectura. La lectura es la llave de acceso que tiene el alumnado para acceder a los distintos contenidos curriculares que se trabajan en la escuela.
