Abstract

En este artículo se realiza un análisis crítico sobre algunas reflexiones teóricas de distintos especialistas en el tema de la lectura y se fijan las principales posiciones de los autores respecto a aspectos inherentes al proceso de lectura, tales como: el papel del conocimiento previo, los niveles de la comprensión, los tres objetivos fundamentales para la enseñanza de la lectura y el enfoque de la interpretación como operación cardinal de cualquier lectura sobre cualquier texto; .especial énfasis se ofrece a la interpretación de textos científicos.
