Abstract

Son muchos los interrogantes que nos surgen al hablar de la evaluación del alumno de la educación infantil y todos ellos están derivados del concepto que socialmente tiene la palabra evaluación, que suele referirse a la medida de los resultados de aprendizaje. Entendida así, esta evaluación no tiene sentido al intentar medir el conocimiento en niños y niñas de 0 a 2 años o de 2 a 4 años, por ejemplo. En el desarrollo de este artículo vamos a tratar la acción educativa del educador en la Escuela Infantil no como la transmisión de un saber ya organizado, sino más bien como la posibilidad de ofrecer situaciones que permitan al niño o a la niña construir su personalidad y sus estructuras mentales, es decir “su saber hacer y su saber ser”.
