Gramática: lengua y aprendizaje

Abstract

A lo largo de la historia, la gramática ha estado expuesta a diferentes definiciones pero no es hasta el establecimiento de la Lingüística como disciplina científica que los lingüistas no llevaron a cabo una definición rigurosa de esta. Tomamos como punto de partida la definición dada por Penny Ur “la gramática es la forma en la que una lengua manipula y combina palabras o trozos de estas para formar unidades de significado mayor” o lo que es lo mismo, el conjunto de reglas que regulan las unidades de significado que conforman una lengua. Esta definición puede ser incluida entre las más recientes y de las que más se acerca a la realidad actual de la gramática.
