Abstract

La casa museo, como institución cultural que debe ocupar un lugar propio en los estudios de Museología, presenta unos indicadores que funcionan a modo de categorías, que son el período histórico y el estilo cultural. Se reivindica la identidad propia de esta categoría museística en España por su contribución al conocimiento de nuestra composición cultural a través del análisis de su arquitectura como exponente de un determinado gusto y de su relación con los diferentes testimonios materiales e inmateriales presentes en sus espacios domésticos.
