Ver sin mirar. El retrato sintético por visión artificial en la práctica artística

Abstract

El artículo traza un recorrido por prácticas artísticas desarrolladas en la última década en torno a la representación sintética del rostro por medio de herramientas de visión artificial para el reconocimiento facial y el promediado de la imagen, partiendo del origen histórico de estos procedimientos y descubriendo sus vínculos con las metodologías actuales, para concluir con una reflexión acerca de su repercusión en prácticas relacionadas con la identidad contemporánea, el control y la vigilancia.
