Las rutas a cerros ancestrales como dinamizadores del patrimonio material e inmaterial del paisaje urbano-rural de Cuenca

Abstract

La investigación propone una puesta en valor del Patrimonio Cultural que detentan los cerros, o santuarios de altura, que rodean a la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador. Este trabajo emplea como caso de estudio las caminatas o rutas a cerros ancestrales que rodean la ciudad; desde una metodología de investigación cualitativa, con un enfoque antropológico emic, y la interacción con sus habitantes. El aporte de la investigación establece estrategias para la valoración y conservación de esta geografía sagrada en un nuevo plan de gestión.
