El paisaje en la perspectiva de la comunidad, identificando el patrimonio en Cuenca, Ecuador

Abstract

La Recomendación sobre Paisajes Urbanos Históricos emitida por la UNESCO en 2011 reconoce el rol fundamental de las comunidades para el manejo del patrimonio. Esta investigación considera que la integración de la perspectiva ciudadano permite identificar elementos que no son considerados en los procesos de protección y conservación patrimonial. Por tanto, se analizan los registros del colectivo ciudadano de una zona adyacente al centro histórico denominada “El Ejido†para entender la naturaleza de los elementos patrimoniales con los que se identifica la ciudadanía y construir una base de manejo de este tipo de patrimonio.
