Abstract

Esta investigación analiza la incidencia del lugar natural en la forma de la vivienda vernácula, en el austro ecuatoriano. Este tipo de construcción crea herramientas para afrontar al paisaje desde los mismos factores naturales. El propósito de este estudio es generar la documentación gráfica para entender cómo respondieron antes para, en el mismo lugar, ahora responder nosotros. De este entendimiento nace la posibilidad de abordar los proyectos, en la actualidad, con la misma certeza que otorgó identidad a la arquitectura nativa.
