Abstract

Tras la postguerra, el existencialismo filosófico invade la obra de Pollock permitiendo explorar la sublimidad que entraña la abstracción, de una manera más sensible, mediante la imaginación. La belleza ya no se rige por cánones clásicos sino que el sentimiento se vuelve propiedad bella. Ese sentimiento único e irrepetible se traduce a líneas, colores o manchas que permiten ver el impulso violento del artista que se proyecta afirmando la vida y proporcionando una especie de orden informe en el caos vivido tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
