Genealogã As Del Arte Activista Mediã Tico En El Contexto De Estados Unidos

Abstract

El arte activista mediático en el contexto estadounidense del periodo altermundista que se dedica a apropiarse de los códigos para resignificarlos está influido por las prácticas de las décadas anteriores y todos ellas se constituyen como una genealogía. Éstas son las prácticas de video guerrilla, el arte activista de los años ochenta y el fenómeno contracultural llamado culture jamming. Las prácticas más recientes presentan mayor complejidad ya que las formas de producción y distribución son híbridas. Se sitúan a la vez en el marco de las instituciones artísticas, las industrias culturales y los contextos activistas.
